Synthesis of Graphene-Oxide-Decorated Porous ZnO Nanosheet Composites and Their Gas Sensing Properties

In this work, graphene-oxide-decorated porous ZnO nanosheets were prepared using a hydrothermal method. The graphene oxide/porous nanosheet (GO/ZnO nanosheet) composites characterized with SEM, HRTEM, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, XPS and BET. results indicate that the have porous, single-crystal structure. Thin GO closely cover surface of nanosheets. sensing performance GO/ZnO is investigated. At optimized temperature 300 °C, exhibit superior in n-propanol detection. wide range 5–200 ppm, linear response to n-propanol. Moreover, largely higher than other VOC gases, indicating high selectivity This can be ascribed electron-separation efficiency larger depletion layer brought by modification on It considered great application potential
